If you have ever wanted one of those recommend my site buttons on your website - now you can do it with this famous and professional PHP-Script of Bauser-Enterprises IT. Furthermore you can protect you and the recipient from unwanted e-mails like spam or other awful abuse of the formmailer (see all the script-features).
The installation and customizing is easy and done in 5 minutes because you neither need any scripting expert knowledge nor is a complicated setup. All the settings can be filled in by an online webinterface (backend) which is password-protected. You can include the script in your htm(l) or php-site - in addition we`ve made detailed instructions to do this (see also our formmailer-script).

All you need is a website which is worth to recommend to others.

• Recommendation of the base-URL and the current/last visited page. Last function can be deactivated respectively is automatically deactivated if the last visited page is identical with your main-url (base-url) or a foreign host (e.g. from a search-engine) and also if the browser-referer is empty
   
• Password protected installer respectively Online-Configurator (backend) via webinterface (easy to install and to customize the script with your browser, see following items and many screenshots below)

• Language: in English or German available (also the installer). A translation in other languages or customizing of the static text (e.g. fieldnames) is possible without any difficulty because of an excluded language-file.
   
• Recommendation eMail up to ten recipients in parallel
   
• Check of the inputs in PHP with following message (error) on the same site (no popup)
   
• eMail-preview-function (optional) on the same site with special note if required inputfields are not duly completed

• Messages (error- and confirmation-messages) and eMail-preview can be shown on the top or on the bottom of the form. The latter is expedient on html-sites with iFrame-inclusion because there´s no autoscroll to the top after a refresh of the site

• Error-Message on the same site (no pop-up, no JavaScript) if the input is not correct: The visitor is guided through the form.
   
• The Introtext of the e-mail can be customized by the admin and can´t be changed by the sender. This feature makes sure, that your desired reference-text to your website will be a part of the eMail and prevents the abuse of the form as an usual eMail-Client.
   
• The user can add own text (can also be customized as mandatory field or this function can be generally deactivated)
   
• The sender will get a copy of the sent e-mails
   
• E-mail-notification to the admininistrator of the done recommendation is possible
   
• Security-Settings (optional):
   
• Filter: Serverside check of the input to avoid code-injections
• Spamcode (Captcha) to protect against Spammaschines (generated in png-image)
• You can restrict the max. possible number of eMails that can be send to the same recipient-eMail-address within a definied time-range
• You can restrict the max. possible number of eMails that can be send from the same sender-eMail-address or the same IP-address within a definied time-range
• You can list general banned sender-eMail-addresses and/or IP-addresses
• Storage of the eMail-data (also the IP of the sender) in a log-file:
  All the sent data will be stored in a logfile.
   
• Headline of the form can be customized by the admin
   
• Customizing of ALL colours and fonts and borders. For selection of browser-safe colours you can use the colour-picker:
  
• Compatible with your site-layout because of transparent background of the form
   
• If you want to use the form as target=“blank“ (additional browser-window) you can include your background-image and your banner on the top of the form. Furthermore in this case is possible to add a „window close“-link.

• Your webserver or tariff by your webhoster must support PHP
  (PHP 4 also possible with “register_globals = OFF”)
   
• Access without any restrictions* to an Apache-Webserver (Linux/Unix) respectively webspace to provide a clean working of the script
  
  *Note: Be sure that your webhoster didn´t preset any write-protections to your webspace because in this case the script-installation will fail (the reason: the configuration-file can´t be written). If you deactivate the write-protection to the folder of the script don´t worry concerning the security - the script-installer will set all the corresponding CHMOD-rights to the individual files (in the installation-folder) accurately and automatically (see installation-instructions included in the download-zipfile).
